Cremorne Point 2 Kitchen

Located on the picturesque shores of Sydney Harbour, the owners of this well-positioned apartment wanted to transform it into something more refined. Working closely with the builder, Dan Kitchens re-arranged the layout to include a pantry, laundry and the removal of a wall to create an open-plan living/dining/kitchen space.
The removal of the wall allowed the designer to explore alternative layouts compared to the original enclosed kitchen space. Ultimately, a design with a display cabinet positioned where the old wall was met the owners desire for semi – separation between kitchen and dining, whilst also providing storage and display options.
This shaker kitchen includes scullery, laundry and display niche

All joinery is detailed in Dan Kitchen’s shaker profile.

White shaker kitchen with wide timber planked flooring

The rangehood was built within the joinery so as not to detract from the clean look.

Leather bar stools with high backs and timber legs

We proposed a table-like island with table legs at each corner yet with 2 drawer banks underneath.

Sub-Zero integrated tall glass door wine fridge

Integrated appliances from Sub-Zero (Wine storage and refrigerator) and Miele (dishwasher – not seen) help keep the look of the kitchen seamless and tidy.

Small scullery for benchtop appliances and coffee making

The scullery/pantry doubles as the owners coffee and preparation area.

Kitchen island with table legs

The kitchen layout takes full advantage of the idyllic scenery of Cremorne Pt.

Shaker drawer front with walnut peg drawer interior

The kitchen internals feature many timber joinery storage solutions finished in American Walnut.

Benchtop Mitred Edge

Veined man-made stone. Particular attention is made to how the veining lines up with adjoining stone pieces.

The large display cabinet acts as a divider between kitchen and dining space.
